Hello Foundations Families and Friends!
This week, we have the honor of sharing a very special video with you from a former Foundations family, Debbie Siciliani-Smallwood and her amazing son, Sam.
Sam’s struggle with the symptoms of dyslexia, dysgraphia, and ADD left him in a situation where he was working at a 1st grade level in all subjects while in 4th grade. As Debbie explains, three straight years of extra support from loving teachers and after-school tutors simply was not working, and she was becoming fearful that Sam would continue to struggle throughout his schooling. Sam entered the Foundations program in 5th grade and worked hard on his cognitive, academic, and growth mindset lessons each day. Now, two years after leaving the Foundations program, Sam shares about how he is attending public high school and HE IS THRIVING! He is earning A’s and B’s in his classes and is even in an honors science class, all without any academic support…WOW!
We invite you to watch Sam and Debbie’s inspiring story of hope, healing, growth, and change…
Wishing you a new year filled with blessings!
