Students entering the Foundations program commonly struggle with a range of challenges including:
– Auditory Processing
– Dyslexia
– Writing Delays / Dysgraphia
– Reading Delays
– Comprehension
– Auditory and/or Visual Memory
– Math / Problem Solving
– Non-Verbal Learning
– Logical Reasoning
– Processing Speed
– Attention / ADHD
– Low Self-Confidence / Self-Esteem
The typical in-person student in the Foundations program:
– Is of average to above average intelligence.
– Has a combination of the learning challenges noted above.
– Does not have severe intellectual, cognitive, emotional or behavior disorders that would significantly affect his or her ability to participate in a small group setting.
– Does not have acquired brain injury or moderate to severe ASD.
For students who do not meet all of the above guidelines, we offer an online homeschool option.
