Today in our classrooms, we discussed how greatly our diet impacts the function of our brain. We spent time discussing how the foods we eat can change our mood (for the better or worse), build or deplete our immune system, increase or lower our energy level, and even impact our sleep patterns. The students were fascinated to learn that every bite of food that we take actually has a positive or negative impact on our brain.
